Nothing says luxury, style, and class more than Concorso Italiano, an annual event featuring Italy's premiere automobiles, motorcycles, and boats. Held August 18th at the beautiful Bayonet Black Horse golf course in Monterey, California, Concorso Italiano attracted enthusiasts and collectors from around the country and featured hundreds of luxury vehicles – both old and new – including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Lotus, and Alfa Romeo, just to name a few.
Shell V-Power was the official fuel sponsor of Concorso Italiano, and throughout the day, Shell gift cards were given away on the main Concorso stage. Towards the end of the day, the event culminated with the Concorso awards ceremony, where the day's most exceptional vehicles were recognized for their beauty and style. John Leon, Shell alternative fuels manager, presented the Shell V-Power Qualita Unica (Unique Quality) Award to Ned Tanen and his red 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4.
"Shell V-Power is proud to be associated with drivers who have a passion for their vehicles' beauty and performance," said Leon. "Shell shares a kinship with automotive fanatics and hopes to provide this community with the ability to get the most from their cars."
