Eligibility: Drawing open to all drivers who are 18 years of age or older prior to 12/16/10. Employees of Shell Oil Products US, Motiva Enterprises LLC or their respective member companies, parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliates or a Shell station (including the wholesalers and retailers themselves), are not eligible to win. This drawing is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
How to Enter: Answer the question "Tell us your favorite holiday road trip memory for a chance to win!" Only one (1) entry per person allowed. All surveys must be received by 12/31/10 midnight Central Time for eligibility. Entries by any other means are void. All surveys and resulting entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Your entry constitutes your consent to participate in this drawing and your consent for Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address (city and state of residence), for the purpose of administering this drawing. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, inaccurate, or mutilated entries; or for errors or problems of any kind, whether electronic, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with this drawing, including without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of this drawing, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in these Official Rules, in any drawing-related advertisements or other materials; or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by equipment, software, programming used in this drawing, human processing error, or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant (and disqualify him/her) who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this drawing.
(1) Prize: One (1) prize of "$500 Shell Gift Card" Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Prize is $500.00. Winner Selection: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing on 1/3/11 from all eligible entries received. If the winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules or awarding of prize is in conflict with corporate written policy, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prize (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or applicable portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at Sponsor's sole discretion. If any prize is returned as undeliverable, winner will be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion, and an alternate winner will be selected. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1.) Sponsor and its designees shall have the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their names, cities/states of residence, for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2.) Shell Oil Products US ("Sponsor"), and it's respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, prize suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any claim, liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in this drawing. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate or suspend this drawing should non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the drawing and, in the event of termination or suspension at its discretion, select the potential winners from those non-suspect, eligible entries received prior to event requiring such termination or suspension using the procedure outlined above.
